Archana Srivastava

Oakland, California

Archana has been working in Family Law in various capacities since 2007. She has worked as a Volunteer, Research Attorney, Law Clerk, and Solo Practitioner. Her passion for family law began after her parent's divorce in the early 1990s and this varied experience has encouraged her passion for helping other families through the same process.

During law school, Ms. Srivastava interned with Bay Area Legal Aid where she helped represent domestic violence victims. After graduating law school, Ms. Srivastava interned for the Santa Clara Superior Court, where she worked at the Family Law Clinic and also clerked for a family law judge. She has also spoken on numerous topics related to Family Law.

Archana immigrated from India when she was eight years old. Being of South Asian descent, Archana personally understands the stigma of divorce in South Asian culture and, more specifically, how divorce affects the children involved. As a result, Archana's litigation style is centered on looking at the whole picture to get the best results for her clients, with an emphasis on co-parenting.
